KEMP was the first agency I joined after leaving my permanent role in Emergency. I was recommended by a friend who told me about their high paying rates and wasn’t disappointed with mon-fri rates of $69/hr for 12 hrs shifts for a specialist RN5 employment status (weekend has a higher loading). In Sydney, their headquarters are in the Sutherland Shire, and the big hospitals they work across are SAN, NBH, and Vinnies (as well as a few pop up antigen testing/covid swabbing clinics). Friendly staff and always easy to contact. I have only ever needed to go into their HQ once for my interview. They even mentioned if I wanted to go travelling interstate I could let them know where and they would try to get me a placement in that area- even though they are not known as a travel agency. I think, like a lot of agencies, you get out what you put in. They try to book me a lot and have never cancelled because the hospital has given them good feedback about me. They use the online app EntireHR: Workforce to book shifts and I have always found it to be a pretty seamless process. If any of the locations of shifts work for you, they’re definitely worth working for, and I think they are relatively new in Sydney so are expanding their locations.
